Back to School
After just over two years in the construction industry, I am back in school. I joined the University of Texas at Arlington in August 2026 as a PhD student in Civil Engineering. This time I am a lot further from home.
The Lab
I work in the Intelligent Systems and Emerging Technologies (iSET) Lab under Dr. Md Nazmus Sakib, as a Graduate Research Assistant. The lab works on extended reality, robotics and automation, artificial intelligence, and 3D printing. My own focus is extended reality, automation, and 3D printing.
What Comes Next
Coursework has started and the research is picking up. There is a lot to learn, and I am fortunate to be working hands on with these technologies this early. I am ready to get the most out of my time at UTA.
